Join Power House Dollz in Making a Difference

The Dollz will embrace creativity and authenticity as they achieve goals they once thought were out of reach. Through this journey, they will explore new activities, discover and master fresh interests, and develop hobbies. These experiences will empower them to create opportunities, such as selling their own arts and crafts. Additionally, our goal is to launch the PHD Magazine, a platform where the Dollz can showcase their talents by writing short stories, composing poems, drawing, and participating in photography.

This workshop is designed to boost the Dollz' self-esteem and confidence while encouraging self-reflection. Through this process, the Dollz will value their own uniqueness and inner beauty. The Dollz will create their own beauty products, such as bath salts, lip gloss, scrubs, body butters, and perfumes. The Dollz will also participate in activities like facials, manicures, and pedicures, empowering them to realize that they can achieve anything they set their minds to.

Every Doll should have the opportunity to learn traditional cooking techniques. Through this, we will celebrate diversity by exploring various cuisines. Each Doll will share a favorite recipe, and together, we will collaborate as a team to create those dishes. Additionally, we will encourage and promote healthy eating habits that the Dollz can incorporate into their daily lives at home.

Every Doll should be equipped to navigate the corporate world and prepare for college. The Dollz will design their own business plans and develop skills to be productive and goal-oriented. They will participate in mock interviews, create their own resumes, and receive guidance on professional attire for interviews. Additionally, the Dollz will learn about FAFSA and receive support with the college application process, ensuring they are ready to take the next steps toward their future success.

The Dollz will explore their acting abilities, building confidence and overcoming the fear of public speaking. They will learn proper language, voice tone, and pronunciation, enhancing their communication skills. Through teamwork, the Dollz will collaborate to brainstorm speech ideas and create their own plays. Acting techniques such as poise, voice control, and body posture will be taught to help them bring characters to life. Additionally, the Dollz will develop self-expression skills through role-playing, allowing them to communicate their thoughts and emotions effectively and creatively.

The Dollz will engage in meaningful discussions about real-world issues such as low self-esteem, bullying, fighting, and the impact of hurtful words on themselves and others. To enhance understanding, we will utilize PowerPoint presentations and movies to explore these topics in depth. Icebreaker games will be incorporated to build skills and foster a supportive environment. The Dollz will also learn about maintaining a healthy lifestyle and respecting their bodies. Recognizing that some Dollz may face challenges like insecurity, low self-esteem, or negative attitudes, we will provide guidance and support to help them navigate these real-world issues with confidence and resilience.

Our Dollz will embody the qualities of P.O.W.E.R: Poised, Organized, Wonderful, Elegant, and Responsible young individuals. Through annual pageants and fashion shows, they will have the opportunity to discover and showcase their true inner beauty. The Dollz will learn essential etiquette skills, such as maintaining poise, standing tall, speaking clearly, making eye contact, and smiling with confidence. They will also gain an understanding of how to dress appropriately for their body types and carry themselves with grace and self-assurance. Each Doll will be celebrated with a crown, sash, and rose to honor their growth and achievements.

We will prioritize community service by engaging the Dollz in meaningful outreach projects that support and uplift local organizations and individuals. The Dollz will actively participate in preparing and distributing meals for the homeless, helping to address food insecurity in our community. They will collaborate with other organizations on volunteer initiatives, contributing their time and efforts to various causes such as environmental cleanups, food drives, and charity events. Additionally, the Dollz will visit nursing homes and senior care facilities, spreading joy and brightening the day of residents through their smiles, performances, and personal interactions. These experiences will instill a sense of responsibility, empathy, and the importance of giving back, empowering the Dollz to make a positive impact in their community.
